V1:

              Therefore… previously: salvation by faith alone

              Therefore – what? And for whom?

V2:        And why?  (note not ‘you’ but ‘me’. Significant?

              Put V2 in your own words.  What is the contrast?

 

V3:        And how?

              Christ came in the flesh but NOT sinful flesh

              We are a spoiled image of God, Jesus wasn’t.

              Jesus had no sinful nature, he was filled with the Spirit

              Does it only apply when bad things happen?

              What is the promise here?
